Sometimes you just can't get away from home. About 10 years ago, my wife and I bought my parents home (they decided to retire to Port Dalhousie) and moved from Burlington back to Etobicoke. The area has changed a lot, but many of the faces have not. I regularly meet parents of school mates that still live in the vicinity.

Finished a victory lap at Thistletown CI for extra credits. Did 3 years at McMaster (theology, of all things) then 3 years at Humber College (finishing as a Certified Engineering Technologist). Mr. Strebig and Ms. Hogarth were so sure I would end up in the arts, were they ever wrong. I should have listened harder in Math & Science, engineering might have come quicker and easier.
