Can't login

I'm happy to help those of you who have suddenly lost your ability to login.

However… first, please consider these factors. Are you entering the email address that you used in our system?  The email address and password that you originally used to register on our site will still work to login, regardless of the fact that this may no longer be your actual email address. I can’t see your password, but can reset it for you.

Once you are successfully logged in, you can then click on Edit Contact Details and correct your email address.  This will now be the email address that you will use to login in future.

Controls for which email notifications you receive and how often can be found on the Notify Me page. Please don't disable Administrator! If you do then you will miss my 1 once every 5 years email...

If you have tried to login using all of the email addresses and passwords that you might have used back in 2009 and are unsuccessful, please go to Contact Us, and I’ll be pleased to reset it for you.

Advisory on LOGIN PROBLEMS:

Lately I have run across a few people who have developed a problem logging in.

The message says logged in successfully, but the screen goes right back to the login box.

Here is what I have learned, and how a few alumni have fixed this.

If you are on an ipad and using Safari...

“IPad, IPhone, .... Safari in general. When that browser runs an update, it is notorious for changing the setting for cookies. It does so without informing the user. The user needs to know that they need to go in and manually set it so that cookies are accepted and saved.”

However the best and easist option is to simply abandon Safari and install Google Chrome.

Chrome users can experience the same thing, and it affects all of their devices (desktops and PDA's)

Best solution that I have found is to completely uninstall Google Chrome and then reinstall it.
